How do I create an Instagram QR code?

Click Create new, then Create a QR Code, click More on the Type step and choose Instagram. Paste the full profile address into Instagram Profile URL, then design and download. Keep it on Dynamic so a rebrand or a new handle only needs an edit, not a reprint.

Here is how to create an Instagram QR code. One scan opens your profile, ready to follow, with no username to search for.
Use it where a follow is easy to ask for. A table tent for waiting guests, a card in the shopping bag, or a poster in the window. Because the code is dynamic, you can change the profile later and the printed code keeps working.
In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code. Click More, pick Instagram and leave it on Dynamic. Give the code a name and paste the Instagram profile URL. Choose a theme for the code itself, then Download. The code is saved and ready to print.
Three things matter. First, the profile URL. Open your profile in a browser and copy the address. Second, use the full link. Every phone then opens the same profile. Third, test it. Scan the preview with your own phone before you print.

When to use a Instagram QR code
- Table tents and counter cards. Guests follow the cafe while they wait for the order.
- Packaging and thank you cards. Slip it into the bag so the follow happens at home.
- Posters and shop windows. Passing foot traffic lands on the profile, not a search box.

Steps in the dashboard
- Open the wizard. In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code.
- Pick the type. On the Type step the grid shows the first 15 types, so click More to show the rest and choose Instagram. Leave it on Dynamic unless you have a reason not to: static codes need a paid plan, record no scans, and can never be edited.
- Fill in the content. Click Next →. The first field is QR Code Name — it is optional and only for your own list. Then, under Basic Information:

Adds UTM campaign tags to the link before it opens. - Design and download. Click Next → to reach QR Design, pick a theme or set your own colours, then click Download ✓. After you download
A dynamic code can be pointed somewhere new at any time: open it from My QR Codes, click Edit, change the address and save. The printed pattern never changes, because it always points at the same short address on our side.

Common problems
The scan lands on a search box
A shortened or partial address was pasted. Open the profile in a browser, copy the complete address, and edit the code.
It opens the browser rather than the app
That is the phone's choice. People who have the app installed are usually offered it; those who do not still reach the profile.
I changed my handle and the code broke
Edit the code and paste the new profile address. Dynamic codes can be repointed; static ones cannot.
Scan the preview with your own phone before you send anything to print. Testing before printing covers what else to check.
