What's a bulk QR code generator?

A bulk QR code generator is a tool that makes many QR codes at once from a spreadsheet, instead of one at a time. You upload a file (CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets), and every row in the spreadsheet becomes its own QR code. Each QR code can point to a different link, contact, or piece of text.

When the job is done, you get all the QR codes in one ZIP file. Open the ZIP and you'll find every QR saved as an image, named so you can match it back to your spreadsheet.

Most people use it because they need hundreds of QR codes that all look the same (same colours, same logo) but point to different things. Doing that by hand would take a full day. With a bulk generator, it takes about a minute.

Upload from Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets

Our bulk QR code generator accepts three file types. Whichever one you're already using, just upload it.

Excel (.xlsx)

Open your Excel file, save as .xlsx, drag it into the upload box. We read the column headers automatically. No need to convert to anything else.

CSV (.csv)

The most common format. Any spreadsheet app can save as CSV: Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers. UTF-8 encoded (which is standard) so Indian languages, French accents, and emojis all work.

Google Sheets

Paste a Google Sheets share link. Set it to "Anyone with the link can view" first. We'll pull the data straight from your sheet without you having to download anything.

We give you a template spreadsheet for each QR type, so you know exactly which columns to fill in. For example, for URL QR codes you need one column called "url". For vCards you need columns for name, phone, email, and so on. Download the template, paste your data, upload back.

Where bulk QR codes get used

Anywhere you need lots of unique QRs. The most common situations:

Wedding and event invitations

Print a unique QR on every guest's invitation card. Each one opens that guest's personal RSVP page, table number, menu choice, or photo album link. One spreadsheet of guest names, one batch of QRs, every card different. Works for weddings, corporate dinners, charity galas, anniversaries.

Product packaging and batches

Manufacturers, FMCG brands, and small producers print a unique QR on every box, bottle, or label. Each QR opens that item's manual, warranty registration, batch number, or authenticity check. Useful for electronics, food, beverages, cosmetics, and pharma.

Event tickets and badges

For conferences, festivals, trade shows, sports events, or club nights. Each ticket or badge gets a unique QR. Scan at the entrance to validate. No duplicates, no fakes.

Multi-location and franchise stores

Each branch gets its own QR. Customer scans the one at your London location and sees that store's menu and reviews. Same design template, different destination per store. Works for restaurants, cafés, retail chains, gyms.

Schools, colleges, and universities

ID cards for students, staff, library users, or alumni. Each QR opens the person's profile, attendance record, or library account. Educational institutions process hundreds of cards in one batch at the start of an academic year.

Warehouse and inventory tracking

Label every shelf, bin, machine, or piece of equipment with a unique QR. Staff scan to log maintenance, update stock counts, or check item history. Standard practice in logistics, manufacturing, hospitals, and large offices.

Static or dynamic bulk QR codes?

Static · Free

Static bulk QR codes

The data is locked into each QR forever. Once you print them, the link or text inside can't be changed. Free to download. Good for wedding invitations, event tickets, or one-off campaigns where nothing needs updating later.

→ Make a static QR code
Dynamic · Recommended

Dynamic bulk QR codes

Each QR points to a redirect link you control. You can edit any individual QR's destination later from your dashboard, without reprinting. You also see scan stats per QR: how many people scanned, when, where, and on what device.

This is the version most businesses want, because product details, prices, or campaign links almost always change. Available on Pro ($12/month) and Business ($29/month). Both plans include 500 codes per batch and unlimited batches.

How to make QR codes in bulk

Three steps with this bulk QR code generator:

Step 1

Upload your spreadsheet

Drop your CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets file into the upload box. Or paste a Google Sheets link. Up to 500 rows per batch. Need more? Run multiple batches.

Step 2

Set the design once

Choose colours, add your logo, pick a dot pattern. The same design applies to every QR in the batch, so they all match your brand. No styling each one individually.

Step 3

Download the ZIP

Click Generate. We process all the rows and pack every QR code into a ZIP file. Each image is named so you can match it back to your spreadsheet row. Print, share, or send straight to your designer.

Frequently asked questions

Is the bulk QR code generator free?

The dynamic version (with editable destinations and scan tracking) needs a Pro or Business plan, starting at $12/month with a 3-day free trial. No credit card needed for the trial. Static bulk QRs can be generated and downloaded without a paid plan.

How many QR codes can I make in one batch?

The QRCodeStack bulk QR code generator handles up to 500 per batch. There's no limit on how many batches you can run, so if you need 2,000 codes you can do four batches of 500.

Can I upload from Google Sheets?

Yes. Paste your Google Sheets share link (set to "Anyone with link can view") and we'll pull the data directly. No need to download as CSV first.

Can I make QR codes for plain text, not just URLs?

Yes. The bulk generator works with any QR type we support: URLs, plain text, vCard contacts, WiFi credentials, phone numbers, and more. Pick the QR type, then upload your spreadsheet with the matching column structure.

Can I edit a QR code after making it in bulk?

Yes, if it's dynamic. Each QR in a bulk batch gets its own redirect link, so you can change any individual destination from your dashboard. The printed QR stays the same. Static bulk QRs can't be edited after generation.

What does the downloaded ZIP file contain?

One PNG image per QR code in your batch. Each file is named to match its source row (so if your spreadsheet row says "guest_127", the QR file will be guest_127.png). You can also download as SVG (for printing very large) or PDF (for ready-to-print sheets).

What plans include bulk QR code generation?

Bulk QR generation is on the Pro plan ($12/month) and Business plan ($29/month). Both support up to 500 codes per batch, full scan analytics, individual tracking, and ZIP downloads. The Starter plan doesn't include bulk. A 3-day free trial covers Pro and Business with no credit card required.

Other ways to use QRCodeStack
