How do I create a Landing Page QR code?

Click Create new, then Create a QR Code, and choose Landing Page on the Type step. Fill in Page Title, Subtitle, Button Text and Button URL, style the code and click Download ✓. Landing Page is a dynamic-only type: scanners open a hosted mobile page with your headline, a short description and one button, and you can rewrite the page later without reprinting the code.

Here is how to create a Landing Page QR code. One scan opens a mobile page with your headline, a short description, and one button.
Use it on launch posters and flyers, on the table at an event booth, or on packaging for a product that has no website yet. Because the code is dynamic, you can rewrite the page later and the printed code keeps working.
In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code. Pick Landing Page from the type grid and leave it on Dynamic. Give the code a name, then type the title, the subtitle, the button text, and the button URL. Choose a theme, then Download. The code is saved and ready to print.
Three things matter. First, the title and the subtitle. They sit at the top of the page. Second, the description. It is optional, so keep it short. Third, the button. Give it a clear label and the URL you want people to reach.

When to use a Landing Page QR code
- Posters and flyers for a launch. One code, one page, one button, with no website to build first.
- Event booths and trade show tables. Visitors scan, read the pitch and tap through while they are still at the table.
- Packaging without a website. Give a product its own page with a headline and a call to action.
Steps in the dashboard
- Open the wizard. In the dashboard sidebar click Create new, then Create a QR Code.
- Pick the type. On the Type step choose Landing Page — it is in the first fifteen tiles, so you will not need More. Landing Page is dynamic only, so the Static tab stays disabled.
- Write the page. On the Content step fill in Page Title (required) and Subtitle. Description is optional body text — a few sentences on what this is and why it matters. A background image and a Content Image can be uploaded here too.
- Set the one action. Under Call to Action fill in Button Text and Button URL — a booking page, a shop or a form. The Welcome screen section adds an optional splash image with a Time (seconds) setting.
- Style it. On the QR Design step pick one of the ten Themes, or set your own dots, colours, frame and logo. Keep strong contrast between Dots Color and Background.
- Save and download. Click Download ✓ to create the code. For the image file, open it from My QR Codes, click Download, and pick JPEG, PNG, SVG or PDF in the Save as... dialog.
After you download
The code is now in My QR Codes, where you can rename it, tag it, file it in a folder or copy its short URL.
- Change the content later. Click Edit on the code, change the fields, then click Update ✓. The printed pattern never changes, so nothing has to be reprinted.
- Scans are counted. A dynamic scan passes through us, so the code records device, operating system, browser, referrer and country. Click Full analytics to read them. Cities and the scan map come with the free trial and the Business plan.
- Rewrite the page. Change the headline, the description or the button target at any time. The printed code opens whatever the page says now.
Common problems
The code will not save
Page Title is the only required field. Fill it in, then click Next →.
The button does not appear
Fill in both Button Text and Button URL. A placeholder shown in grey is not a value.
You need several buttons, not one
Use List of Links instead. It gives every link its own labelled button on one page.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a website first?
No. The page is hosted for you and the code points at it.
Can I change the page after printing?
Yes. Edit the code and click Update ✓; the pattern never changes.
Can a Landing Page code be static?
No. Landing Page is dynamic only, because the page is hosted.
Can I add more than one button?
Not on this type. Use List of Links when you need several.
