Write to support@qrcodestack.com. A person reads every message — we are a small team, not a ticket queue. Expect a reply within one business day, usually sooner.

To get to an answer faster, tell us the email on your account and, if the question is about a specific code, its name or short link.

Browser extension

Do I need an account? No. Open the extension on any page and it generates a static QR code you can download straight away. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored on our servers.

How do I connect my account? Sign in at qrcodestack.com, go to Settings → Browser Extension, click Generate connect code, then paste that code into the extension popup. Connecting unlocks trackable QR codes, short links, and your recent links with click counts.

How do I disconnect it? Click Disconnect at the bottom of the popup. That deletes the stored code from your browser immediately and the extension returns to free static mode. To invalidate the code itself, generate a new one in Settings — the old one stops working.

What does the extension collect? Only the address and title of the tab you are on, and only at the moment you create a code or link from it. It cannot read your browsing history or the contents of any page. See our privacy policy for the detail.

A code I made stopped working. Trackable codes stop redirecting if the destination is later flagged as unsafe, or if the account that owns them lapses. Email us and we will tell you which it is.

QR codes

Will my QR code expire? Static codes never expire — we do not deactivate them, including free ones. Trackable codes work as long as the account that owns them is active.

Can I change where a code points after printing? Yes, that is what a trackable code is for. Open it in the dashboard, edit the destination, and every printed copy follows the change immediately.

My code will not scan. Usually density or contrast. Very long destinations produce dense codes — use a trackable code or a short link so the code encodes a short URL instead. Keep dark modules on a light background, and print at least 2 cm square for close scanning.

Billing

Plans, invoices and cancellation all live in Settings → Billing in your dashboard. Cancel any time; your codes keep working until the period you paid for ends. For refunds, billing corrections or a VAT invoice, email support@qrcodestack.com.

Your data

To export or delete your data, or to exercise any right under GDPR or CCPA, email support@qrcodestack.com from the address on your account. Details of what we hold and for how long are in the privacy policy, and our controls are described on the security page.

Reporting abuse

If a QRCodeStack link or QR code points somewhere malicious, send us the link at support@qrcodestack.com and we will investigate. We screen every destination against Google Web Risk when a code is created, whenever its destination changes, and again every day it stays live — but if something slipped through, we want to know.

Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor

To let an assistant create and manage trackable QR codes on your account, connect it at /mcp-connector. The server URL is https://qrcodestack.com/mcp. A free-trial login can authorize, but tool calls are refused until you subscribe. How we handle those tokens is in the privacy policy (section 2.2b).
