Change a destination after printing, schedule or cap a code, protect it with a password, archive or delete it, and keep the list tidy.
How do I edit a QR code's destination after printing?
Open the code, click Edit, change the destination on the Content step and click Update. The printed pattern keeps working. Static codes cannot be edited.
Can I convert a static QR code to a dynamic one?
No. The Dynamic/Static choice is fixed at creation. Create a dynamic code, use it from your next print run, and leave the static one in place until then.
Will my QRCodeStack QR code expire or stop working?
Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes work while your plan is active and stop only if it lapses, or if you archive the code, schedule it or cap its scans.
What is the difference between archiving and deleting a QR code?
Archiving is reversible: the code stops redirecting but keeps its scans and can be unarchived within your plan limits. Deleting is permanent, with no trash.
How do I delete a QR code, and what happens to its scan data?
Open the ⋮ menu, choose Delete and confirm. Deletion is permanent, the scan history goes with the code, and printed copies show a QR Code Unavailable page.
How do I organise QR codes with folders, tags, search and filters?
Folders give each code one home, tags cut across folders, and Search, the All/Static/Dynamic tabs, Filter and Sort find anything in a long list.
How do I schedule, pause, or cap the number of scans on a QR code?
Scan Limit and Date Schedule sit in Rules & Limits on the Content step and need Pro or Business. To pause a code on any plan, archive it.
How do I password-protect a QR code?
Edit the code, open Rules & Limits and type a password in Password Protection. Scanners then see an unlock page before the content. Pro and Business only.
How do I send scanners to different destinations by country or device?
Turn on Dynamic Routing in Rules & Limits on a URL code, add If Country/Region/Device/Platform rules, and set the URL each one goes to. Pro and Business.
How do I update a restaurant menu QR code without reprinting? Video
Open the Menu code, click Edit, change the price or dish on the Content step and click Update. Table tents and window stickers keep working unchanged.
