How do I create an X (Twitter) QR code?

Click Create new, then Create a QR Code, click More on the Type step and choose Twitter/X. Paste the full profile address into Twitter/X URL, then design and download. Keep it on Dynamic, so a handle change later is an edit rather than a reprint.

Here is how to create a X, formerly Twitter, QR code. One scan opens your X profile, so people can follow without hunting for the handle.
Use it where a follow should be one scan. An event banner, the last slide of a talk, a conference badge, or a print ad. Because the code is dynamic, you can change the profile later and the printed code keeps working.
In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code. Click More, pick X and leave it on Dynamic. Give the code a name and paste the profile URL. Choose a theme for the code itself, then Download. The code is saved and ready to print.
Three things matter. First, the profile URL. Open the profile in a browser and copy the address. Second, use the full link. Every phone then opens the same profile. Third, test it. Scan the preview with your own phone before you print.

When to use a Twitter/X QR code
- Event banners and race bibs. Spectators follow updates on the day instead of searching for a handle.
- Conference slides and badges. The last slide or the lanyard, for the follow that outlasts the talk.
- Newsletters and print ads. One code where the handle would be, so the follow is a scan, not a search.

Steps in the dashboard
- Open the wizard. In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code.
- Pick the type. On the Type step the grid shows the first 15 types, so click More to show the rest and choose Twitter/X. Leave it on Dynamic unless you have a reason not to: static codes need a paid plan, record no scans, and can never be edited.
- Fill in the content. Click Next →. The first field is QR Code Name — it is optional and only for your own list. Then, under Basic Information:

Adds UTM campaign tags to the link before it opens. - Design and download. Click Next → to reach QR Design, pick a theme or set your own colours, then click Download ✓. After you download
A dynamic code can be pointed somewhere new at any time: open it from My QR Codes, click Edit, change the address and save. The printed pattern never changes, because it always points at the same short address on our side.

Common problems
The scan lands on a search or a login wall
Paste the complete profile address rather than a shortened one, and check the profile is public. A protected account asks every visitor to request access.
The handle changed and the code is dead
Edit the code and paste the new address. Static codes cannot be repointed, so they stay broken.
It opens the browser instead of the app
That is the phone's choice, and the profile is the same either way.
Scan the preview with your own phone before you send anything to print. Testing before printing covers what else to check.
