MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

QR code management software for estates too big to track in a spreadsheet

Once there are a few hundred codes across stores, products and campaigns, the problem stops being generation and becomes governance: finding a code, knowing who changed it, and stopping the wrong person repointing it.

The problem is not making codes. It is finding them again

Generation is solved. Every tool does it, most of them free. What breaks at scale is everything after: a code on a product line nobody can locate in the dashboard, a destination someone changed without telling anyone, a departing employee whose personal account owns forty printed codes.

The failure mode is specific and expensive. A code is printed on 50,000 boxes, the campaign it points at ends, and nobody can say which of the 300 codes in the account is the one on the box — so it quietly rots into a 404 that customers hit for another eighteen months.

Management software is the answer to that, not to generation. What matters is search, ownership, permissions and a record of who did what.

What keeps an estate navigable

Tags and search

Tag by campaign, store, product line or region and filter the estate down to the codes you actually mean. Unlimited tags on Business.

Bulk operations

Create hundreds of codes from one CSV rather than one at a time, with per-row destinations and names. Pro and Business.

Multi-brand workspaces

Separate workspaces for separate brands or clients, each with its own branding and members.

Who can do what

Roles decide who can create, edit and delete, so a printed code is not one mis-click from being repointed.

ControlWhat it covers
Role-based accessOwner, admin and member roles across the organisation
InvitesBring colleagues into the org rather than sharing one login
Audit logAn org-wide record of who created, edited or deleted which code, and when
SAML 2.0 and SCIM 2.0Single sign-on and automated provisioning and de-provisioning from your identity provider
Scoped API keysPer-key scopes and IP allowlists so an integration cannot do more than its job

The identity and provisioning side is covered in more depth on enterprise.

Reporting across the estate, not one code at a time

Per-code numbers are useful to whoever printed that code. A manager needs the aggregate: scans by region, by campaign, by product line — which is what tagging is actually for, because the tag is what the report groups by.

Scan data exports to CSV on every plan and is available over the REST API on Pro and Business, so the numbers can be joined to whatever else you report on rather than living in a dashboard nobody opens.

If the estate is mostly links rather than printed codes, the same tagging and reporting covers branded short links in the same account.

What it costs to run

Starter — $9/mo

10 dynamic codes, unlimited static, 100 short links. One seat. Fine for a single site or a freelancer.

Pro — $19/mo

50 dynamic codes, 1,000 short links, bulk CSV, API access, one branded domain.

Business — $59/mo

600 dynamic codes, 5,000 short links, five branded domains, white-label scan pages, SAML and SCIM.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I import QR codes I made elsewhere?

You can recreate them in bulk from a CSV, but existing printed codes cannot be transferred: a code's redirect belongs to whoever created it. Codes already in the world keep pointing at the old provider until they are reprinted.

How do I stop someone repointing a printed code by accident?

Use roles. Members can be limited so only owners and admins can edit destinations, and the audit log records every change with the person and timestamp regardless.

Is there a limit on how many people can be in the organisation?

Seats are per plan. Starter is single-seat; Pro and Business support a team, with SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning available on Business. See pricing.

What happens to our codes if we stop paying?

Static codes never expire and keep working regardless. Dynamic codes stay live for the life of the subscription; if it lapses, scans pause rather than the code being deleted, and resubscribing restores them with their history intact.

Do you have an API?

Yes, a REST API on Pro and Business with scoped keys and IP allowlists, plus native integrations for Zapier, HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Mailchimp and Google Sheets.
