Here is how to create a TikTok QR code. One scan opens your profile, so a customer can follow you before they leave the counter.
Use it on the till, on a takeaway box, on a market stall poster, or in a printed menu. Because the code is dynamic, you can point it at a new video or a campaign page later and the printed code keeps working.
In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code. Click More, pick TikTok from the type grid and leave it on Dynamic. Give the code a name, then paste your TikTok profile URL. Choose a theme for the code itself, then Download. The code is saved and ready to print.
One field matters. First, paste the full profile link with your handle. Second, check it opens your profile and not the app store. Third, remember you can change the link later from the dashboard. The printed code stays the same.
Try it on the seven-day free trial. No credit card, five dynamic QR codes. Link in the description.
When to use a TikTok QR code
- Shop counters and packaging. Stick it on the till, the takeaway box or the paper bag.
- Posters and event stalls. A market stall or a pop-up shop where people are already filming.
- Print ads and menus. Point it at a new video or a campaign page later, without reprinting.
TikTok codes can be Dynamic or Static. Dynamic routes the scan through a short link we own, so the destination can change and the scans are counted. Static writes the profile URL straight into the pattern — no edits, no analytics.
Steps in the dashboard
- Start the wizard. Click Create new, then Create a QR Code.
- Pick the type. On the Type step click More, choose TikTok ("Open a TikTok profile") and leave the toggle on Dynamic.
- Name it. On the Content step type a QR Code Name such as "Counter sticker".
- TikTok Profile URL. Paste the full link with the @ handle, exactly as TikTok shows it — for example
https://tiktok.com/@yourhandle. - Profile or a single video. A video link works here too, if you want scanners to land on one clip rather than the whole profile.
- Design and download. Click Next →, choose a theme on the QR Design step, then Download ✓ and pick a format in Save as....
The TikTok QR code generator page runs the same wizard before you sign in.
After you download
Because the code is dynamic it redirects through us, so open it and click Edit to send scanners to a new video whenever a campaign changes. The sticker on the till stays where it is.
Scans are recorded and shown under Full analytics: time, device, operating system, browser, referrer and country. TikTok tells you about views; our numbers tell you how many of them started at your packaging.
Common problems
The scan opens the app store instead of the profile
The phone has no TikTok app installed, so the web link hands over to the store. Test on a phone that does have the app, and keep the link as the plain https://tiktok.com/@handle form.
The profile opens but the handle is wrong
The URL was copied from a share sheet that shortened it. Copy the address from the profile page in a browser instead, and check the @ handle matches.
The code prints too small on a sticker
Small round stickers crop the quiet zone. Leave a clear white margin all round and check minimum print size before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Can I point the code at one video instead of my profile?
Yes. Paste the video URL into the same field. On a dynamic code you can switch between a video and the profile whenever you like.
Can I change it after printing?
Yes on a dynamic code — open it, click Edit, save. Static TikTok codes have the URL baked into the pattern and cannot be changed.
Do I see follower numbers here?
No. We record the scan: time, device, browser and country. Followers and views stay in TikTok's own analytics.
Can one code cover TikTok plus my other networks?
Yes — use the Social Media type, which shows a page with a link for each network you fill in.
