How do I create a Business QR code?

Click Create new, then Create a QR Code, and choose Business on the Type step. Fill in Business Name, Address, Phone, Email, Website and Opening Hours, style the code and click Download ✓. Business is a dynamic-only type, so the details you save stay editable — change your hours for a holiday and the code on the door does not need reprinting.

Here is how to create a Business QR code. Scanners get your business details on one page: address, phone, email and opening hours.
Use it on the shop door so hours are readable after closing, on a van or a site board, or on a flyer that should stay clean. Because the code is dynamic, you can change the hours later and the printed code keeps working.
In the dashboard, click Create new, then Create a QR Code. Pick Business from the type grid and leave it on Dynamic. Give the code a name, then type the business name, address, phone and opening hours. Choose a theme, then Download. The code is saved and ready to print.
First, the business name. It is the heading of the page and the only required field. Second, the address and phone. Type the phone with the country code. Third, the opening hours. Write them any way you like and update them for holidays.

When to use a Business QR code
- Shop doors and windows. Hours and contact details readable after closing time.
- Vans, vehicles and site boards. Everything a passing customer needs to call you or find you.
- Flyers and local ads. One code carries the address and the hours, so the ad stays clean.
Steps in the dashboard
- Open the wizard. In the dashboard sidebar click Create new, then Create a QR Code.
- Pick the type. On the Type step choose Business — it is in the first fifteen tiles, so you will not need More. Business is dynamic only, so the Static tab stays disabled.
- Fill in the business. On the Content step type Business Name and an optional Description.
- Add the practical details. Fill in Address, Phone (with the country code), Email, Website and Opening Hours. Hours are free text, so write them the way you would on a sign, and come back to edit them for holidays.
- Style it. On the QR Design step pick one of the ten Themes, or set your own dots, colours, frame and logo. Keep strong contrast between Dots Color and Background.
- Save and download. Click Download ✓ to create the code. For the image file, open it from My QR Codes, click Download, and pick JPEG, PNG, SVG or PDF in the Save as... dialog.
After you download
The code is now in My QR Codes, where you can rename it, tag it, file it in a folder or copy its short URL.
- Change the content later. Click Edit on the code, change the fields, then click Update ✓. The printed pattern never changes, so nothing has to be reprinted.
- Scans are counted. A dynamic scan passes through us, so the code records device, operating system, browser, referrer and country. Click Full analytics to read them. Cities and the scan map come with the free trial and the Business plan.
- Seasonal hours. Edit the code rather than printing a new sign each time the hours change.
Common problems
The code will not save
Give the code at least a Business Name. If a field is highlighted, the toast says "Please fix the highlighted fields to continue".
The phone number does not dial
Include the country code, with no spaces or brackets that a phone cannot parse — for example +919820011223.
You want a designed page with a button
Use Landing Page for a headline, a description and one call to action, or vCard Plus if the point is to be saved as a contact.
Before you print
Scan your own saved code with a phone and check what comes up before a print run, a window sticker or a vehicle wrap. Reprinting a van is expensive; editing a code is free.

Can a Business code be static?
No. Business is dynamic only, which is what keeps the details editable.
Can I change my opening hours later?
Yes. Edit the code and click Update ✓; the printed code is unchanged.
Does it count scans?
Yes. Dynamic codes record device, operating system, browser, referrer and country on every scan.
