How do I download a QR code again after creating it?

Go to My QR Codes, open the code's row menu and choose Download. The same Save as... dialog you used the first time opens, so you can pick a different format or size on every download. Nothing is used up and nothing changes about the code — download it as many times as you want, in as many formats as you want.

- Open My QR Codes in the dashboard.
- Find the code. Use Search by name..., the All / Static / Dynamic tabs, or the Filter button to narrow by type, tag or status.
- Click the row's ⋮ menu and choose Download.
- Pick a format in Save as..., set the options, and click Download.
The same menu also has Print, which opens the saved image in a new tab and starts your browser's print dialog. It is a quick way to get a test copy on paper; for a real print run, download a file and send that instead.
From the code's own page
- Click the code's name in My QR Codes to open it.
- Click Download in the action row, next to Edit and Full analytics.
- Choose your format and click Download.
Finishing the creation wizard saves the code and takes you to your list — it does not save a file to your computer. The file always comes from the Save as... dialog, which is why you can come back for it at any time.
Downloading after you change the design
If you edit a code and change anything on the QR Design step — colours, dot pattern, frame, logo, density, error correction — the image is regenerated when you save. Your next download is the new design.
On a dynamic code this is safe: the destination is unchanged, so the version you already printed keeps working and keeps being tracked. You simply have an old file and a new file that both lead to the same place. Use the new one from your next print run.
Editing content, name, tags or folder does not touch the image at all.
Common problems
I cannot find the code in the list
Check whether it is archived — archived codes are hidden behind the Filter button. If a filter bar reading Filters applied is showing, click Clean filters and search again. A deleted code cannot be recovered; deletion is permanent.
Only a low-quality PNG is offered
You are on the free plan. The dialog shows an amber notice and one PNG button. Any paid plan and the 7-day free trial unlock JPEG, SVG, PDF, the larger sizes and CMYK.
The Download button says "Generating…" for a while
Each file is rendered fresh from your saved design, which takes about a second the first time. Repeat downloads of the same file are faster.
The download failed
Try once more — the render is retried on a fresh request. If it keeps failing, open the code, save the design again on the QR Design step, and download from the code's page.
I want the file for a static code
It works the same way. Static codes have no analytics and cannot be edited, but the Download and Print actions behave exactly as they do for dynamic codes.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many times I can download a code?
No. Downloads are unlimited on every plan; the plan decides which formats and sizes you get, not how often.
Can I download several codes at once?
No. Downloads are one code at a time, from the row menu or the code's page.
Will re-downloading create a new QR code?
No. It renders the code you already have. The destination, the scan history and the code's link are untouched.
Where did my original file go?
Into your browser's downloads folder. If you cannot find it, just download it again — the file is regenerated from your saved design each time.
Can I download a code someone else in my workspace made?
Yes, if it appears in your My QR Codes list. Download works on any code you can open.

Archiving is reversible: the code stops redirecting but keeps its scans and can be unarchived within your plan limits. Deleting is permanent, with no trash.
