QRCodeStack product tour: the dashboard in two minutes
Updated September 14, 2026 · 2 min read
The dashboard is a left sidebar plus one Create new button. The sidebar lists Home, QR Codes, Links, Pages, Analytics, Custom Domains, a More group, Integrations, Settings and Support. Create new opens a dialog where you pick what to make — a QR code, a short link, a bulk batch or a page. Everything you create lands in one of those lists, and every dynamic code reports its scans back to Analytics.
Where do I create something?
The Create new button sits at the top of the sidebar. It opens a dialog with four choices:
- Create a QR Code — the three-step wizard: Type, Content, QR Design.
- Shorten a link — a short link on qstak.co or your own branded domain.
- Bulk QR Codes — see the note below.
- Branded pages — the Pages area.
Bulk creation has no sidebar row, and the Bulk QR Codes option currently opens a screen headed Coming Soon. Bulk works today only through the API on the Business plan — see creating QR codes in bulk.
What the Home screen shows
Home opens on three quick actions — Create QR, Shorten a link, Analytics — above four stat cards: Scans This Week, Active QR Codes, Unique Visitors and a Plan Usage card with separate meters for dynamic codes, static codes and links. Below that sit Scan Activity (last 14 days), Top Performing, Recent QR Codes and Scan Insights with top countries and devices.
A brand-new account sees a welcome panel with three tiles — Create, Share, Track — and a Create your first QR Code button instead. There is no multi-step onboarding tour to click through.
Where codes live after you create them
Every code you make appears under QR Codes. The list has a Search by name... box, tabs for All / Static / Dynamic, a Filter button, and sorting by Most recent, Name, Most scanned or Last modified. Folders and tags keep large lists usable.
Click a code to open its detail page. The action row there has Archive, Download, Tags, Move to folder, Full analytics and Edit, with Delete in the ⋮ menu. Static codes show an explainer card instead of charts, because a static scan never reaches our servers.
Which areas need a paid plan
You can open every page on any plan. What is gated is what happens inside.
| Area | Plan |
|---|---|
| Data Hub, Campaigns, QR Stickers, Support | Every plan |
| Marketing (tracking profiles and pixels), Ask AI | Pro and Business |
| Branded short-link domains | Pro (1 domain), Business (5) |
| White-label scan pages, Affiliates, native integrations | Business |
| Canva | Starter and up |
| Cities, regions and the scan map | The free trial and the Business plan |
Frequently asked questions
Is there an onboarding tour inside the app?
No. New accounts get a welcome panel with Create, Share and Track tiles and a button to make the first code. Everything else is discovered from the sidebar.
Why does Pages say "Soon"?
Publishing pages is not switched on in production yet. The row stays visible so you can see what is coming, and opens a preview rather than the editor.
Where do I change or cancel my plan?
Settings → Billing. The Manage Subscription button opens the Dodo billing portal in a new tab, which is where cancellation and payment details live.
Why can't I find Bulk in the sidebar?
It was moved into the Create new dialog. That screen currently shows Coming Soon; bulk creation runs through the API on the Business plan.
Does the sidebar Workspace selector switch workspaces?
It switches organizations. Workspaces are managed separately under Settings → Workspaces on the Business plan.
