Wedding invitation QR code: RSVPs and details in one scan

A wedding invitation QR code sends guests straight to your RSVP form or wedding website, so nobody has to type a long link. If the details change after printing, you change the destination, not the invitations.

No credit card required. Plans from $9 a month after the trial.

What to link it to

  • Your wedding website, if you already have one
  • An RSVP form: a Google Form works well
  • A multi-link page with RSVP, directions and the registry together
  • A calendar entry for the date, using an event code

Before you print

Print the code at 2 cm or more, in dark ink on a pale background, and scan a printed proof on two different phones. Script fonts and foil look lovely, but they do not belong inside the code itself.

The honest part: this is a subscription

Dynamic codes run on a monthly plan from $9, and they stop working if the plan ends. Keep it active until after the wedding, then cancel from your dashboard. If your link will never change, a static code avoids all of this. Static codes need a paid plan to design and download, or you can use the plain black-and-white free generator.

This page is about invitations. We do not offer guest photo uploads. For everything else, see wedding QR codes.

Where to place it on the card

The reverse or an RSVP insert usually works best, so the code does not compete with the design. Add a short line, such as "Scan to RSVP by 1 June", plus a typed web address for guests who would rather not scan. Older relatives will appreciate a phone number too.

Choose one code for all your guests. It is much simpler to manage, and the RSVP form can ask for each guest's name. Remember that anyone holding the invitation can open the link, so leave private details such as a home address off the page, or set a password on Pro.

Order a printed proof before the full run and scan it in ordinary room light. Metallic inks and textured card can make a code harder to read, and it is much cheaper to find that out on a single sample.

Common questions

Can guests RSVP without an app?

Yes. A phone camera opens the link, and your form or website does the rest.

Will the code still work after I cancel?

A dynamic code will not. A static code you have downloaded will.
