Event registration QR code: scan a poster, land on the sign-up form

An event registration QR code takes people from a poster or email straight to your sign-up form. Keep using the form or ticketing tool you have, and use a separate code for each placement to see which one works.

No credit card required. Plans from $9 a month after the trial.

How it works

  1. Paste the link to your form or ticket page, such as a Google Form.
  2. Create one dynamic code for each poster, email or partner.
  3. Print it, and scan a proof first.
  4. Compare scans by code, and swap the destination when registration closes.

What it is not

This is the link into your registration, not a ticketing system. We do not take payment for tickets, issue tickets, or scan people in at the door. If you need those, your event platform handles them and this code simply brings people to it.

After registration closes

Printed posters keep getting scanned. Repoint the code to a waiting list, the schedule or a recording, so a late scan still gets somewhere useful. More ideas are on the QR codes for events page.

Where the code earns the most sign-ups

  • Posters and flyers in places where your audience already gathers
  • Partner newsletters and slides at related events, each with its own code
  • The registration desk, for walk-ups who would rather fill in the form on their own phone
  • Printed invitations, alongside a typed short link for people who prefer it

Keep the form short and mobile-friendly, because a scan means a phone. Ask only for what you need on the day, and put the date and venue at the top so people can confirm they have the right event. Write the reason next to the code too: "Scan to save your seat" is clearer than "Scan me".

Before you print, test the whole path on a phone, including the confirmation message. If the form has a closing date, schedule a reminder to repoint the code that day.

Common questions

Can I add the event to a calendar from the code?

Yes. An event code shows the details and lets people add them to a calendar.

Which plan do I need?
